Film and TV Production Restart Scheme

In July 2020, the UK Government's Culture Secretary announced a scheme for film and TV productions struggling to get insurance for COVID-related costs.

The Film and TV Production Restart Scheme aims to help productions halted or delayed by an inability to obtain insurance for COVID-19 related risks.

Following the receipt of State Aid approval from the European Commission, the scheme has now opened.

The registration deadline for this scheme is 30 April 2022.
