How To Contact your MSP for Advocacy Projects or Lobbying

This is a very practical, to-the-point guide on how to contact your MSP.

You're represented by 8 MSPs. One constituency MSP who represents your local area and 7 regional MSPs who represent your larger area.

For the most up to date contact information for your MSPs, input your postcode on this Scottish Parliament webpage.

If your local MSP is a Cabinet Secretary or Minister, you’re contacting them as your MSP, so be sure to use their MSP address, not their ministerial address. If you’re unsure, ask Andy andy@culturecounts.scot.

Lobbying Register

If you contact an MSP who is not your local representative, this contact may be considered Regulated Lobbying.

Communications made to your constituency or regional MSPs are exempt from this regulation.
