Are the major umbrella organisations across Scotland's arts, heritage and creative industries and they contribute financially towards the running costs of the Culture Counts project. There are usually two to three meetings of the core members group annually.
Please note that creative trade unions and sector support organisations such as the Federation of Scottish Theatre are members of Culture Counts. Individuals and smaller organisations can feed into our work through their relevant support organisations and unions.

Our steering group consists of between nine and twelve Core Members who support the team to develop our strategy. They contribute to open letters to ministers, action plans, and collective policy submissions. There are usually between eight to ten meetings annually.

The EDI co-learning working group will be a place where core members can examine how to improve EDI in our organisations. Participants will take part in four facilitated events over eighteen months, starting in April 2022. Participating in the group is voluntary.
Funding for the EDI working group comes from members subscriptions, Creative Scotland and from Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

The purpose of the Creative Economy Recovery Group is to collaboratively map out features of a future-facing creative economy for Scotland, to secure resilience and sustainability. This group met monthly until December 2022.
