Cross Party Group on Culture Meets twice a year.

The December 2018 meeting of the Cross Party Group on Culture received a letter highlighting the situation at City of Glasgow College. The College had shut-down the application process to apply for HND Art-Glass Production. The issue was discussed at the CPG Meeting. Joan McAlpine MSP then wrote (as group convener) to City of Glasgow College to encourage the reopening of applications for this course so that Scotland can protect this important cultural skill. 

The HND Art-Glass Production course is the only feeder course in Scotland to a career in Art-Glass Production. Scotland needs to protect Art-Glass skills, to ensure this happens, help us promote this course by highlighting it to members of your own organisation.
