A Culture & Heritage Manifesto for Local Government

As the Scottish local elections draw closer (5 May 2022), a collaboratively produced manifesto by cultural partners working in Scotland has been published.

Culture and Heritage: A Manifesto for Local Government was produced by BEFS, Creative Edinburgh, Creative Lives, Go Industrial, Museums Association, Museums Galleries Scotland, Regional Screen Scotland, Scottish Contemporary Art Network, Scottish Council on Archives, and West of Scotland Regional Equality Council.

The manifesto articulates the value of culture and heritage to local communities. And sets out asks needed to support culture and heritage from Local Government.
