Self-Employment Income Support Scheme
The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) is now open. The scheme is for self-employed or members of a partnership adversely affected by coronavirus. It allows the self employed to claim a taxable grant of 80% of your average monthly trading profits (capped at £7500). The grant does not need to be repaid but will be subject to Income Tax and self-employed National Insurance.
HMRC assess eligibility and how much grant you may get. More information and an eligibility checker is available on the UK Government webpage.
