EU Structural Fund Priorities in Scotland
The Finance & Constitution Committee (Scottish Parliament) have opened an Inquiry into Funding of EU Structural Fund Priorities in Scotland, post-Brexit. The deadline for responses is Thursday 25 April 2019.
European structural funding supports economic development across all EU countries. It promotes smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
How the UK will participate in EU funding streams, post-Brexit, or what would replace funding streams remains to be agreed. UK Government has proposed a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) which will "respect the devolution settlement".
The purpose of this inquiry is to explore the experience of lead partners, delivery agents and beneficiaries. This will inform the design of any future funding of structural priorities in Scotland post-Brexit.
The Committee is inviting written responses to questions in the call for evidence. The deadline for responses is Thursday 25 April 2019. Please use the template provided by the Committee on their website at the link below.
