DCMS Consultation into Strengthening the Process for Retaining National Treasures

Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport have opened a consultation into the process for exporting exceptional cultural objects.

  • Consultation outlines a proposal to introduce a legally binding mechanism into the export control process for retaining national treasures

  • The consultation closes on 24 February 2019
