Culture Counts and Community Leisure UK are calling on the political parties to commit to develop a Culture Act for Scotland in the upcoming Holyrood elections and into the next parliament. A matter of interest to our members and those working across arts, heritage and creative industries, is what we can learn from different approaches taken to legislation in Europe, including our close neighbours in Ireland and Wales. The conversation and Q&A will explore how legislation impacts both local and national policy and local delivery in these contexts, as well as what we can learn in terms of pursuing a Culture Act for Scotland.
